Our Reconciliation Action Plan

Through our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we have celebrated important achievements, gained valuable insights, and identified challenges that will help shape the next stage of our reconciliation journey.

Key achievements included increasing employee engagement and cultural awareness through monthly reconciliation updates, participation in National Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week activities, employee awareness surveys, and support for the Happy Boxes Project, which provided essential items to women in need.

Throughout the journey, we learned the importance of building cultural capability, creating opportunities for ongoing learning and dialogue, and fostering meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities. We also recognised that meaningful reconciliation requires sustained commitment, accountability, and a willingness to listen, learn, and adapt.

We encountered challenges common to organisations in the early stages of reconciliation, including building external relationships and engaging with stakeholders and community partners. These experiences highlighted the importance of collaboration, persistence, and continuous improvement.

The insights gained through our Reflect RAP have established a strong foundation for future commitments and actions.
